Paralegal - Criminal Defence

Keira works on Police Station, Magistrates and Crown Court files, dealing with case management, taking instructions and providing updates.

As part of the criminal defence team, Keira helps support clients through every stage of the criminal justice process. This ranges from arrests at the Police Station, to trials at the Crown Court. Keira meets with clients to take their instructions and discuss the evidence in their case.

Keira has always had a passion for criminal law and likes that everyday brings new challenges finding it rewarding to support people through difficult times and help them understand the legal process.

Career

Keira has worked in Law since 2023 and has experience in a variety of departments such as Residential Conveyancing and Private Client. Keira joined Stephen Rimmer LLP in 2024 where she started in Conveyancing before moving to the Criminal Defence Department.
