James is a Partner and Solicitor, working in our commercial department. He has a wealth of experience in commercial property matters and supports a diverse range of clients. His client base includes large and small companies, property investors, entrepreneurs and developers.
James believes that it is vital to provide sound commercial advice that helps to guide clients through their journey, while also remaining as approachable as possible. He enjoys working closely with clients to understand and help them to achieve their long and short term goals.
James is the firm's Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer and makes sure the firm meets the Money Laundering Regulations.
In his free time James enjoys spending time with his family, dog walking and watching (and occasionally playing) football.
James graduated from Cambridge University and qualified as a solicitor in 2000. He then worked for Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw LLP and DMH Stallard LLP, before joining Stephen Rimmer in 2016. James became a Partner in 2019.
