Amy Oulson-Jenkins
Amy Oulson-Jenkins is an Associate Solicitor in the Residential Conveyancing team at Stephen Rimmer LLP, where she guides clients through the legal process of buying and selling their homes.
Amy began her legal career in 2012 and qualified as a solicitor in 2019, initially practising in family law before following her long-held interest in property into a dedicated conveyancing role.
That earlier grounding in family work informs the care and patience she brings to residential transactions, which she knows can be one of the most significant and stressful undertakings in a client's life. She is committed to keeping clients well informed at every stage, explaining each step clearly so they can move forward with confidence. Approachable and thorough in equal measure, Amy takes the time to understand what each client needs from their move and works to make the experience as smooth and straightforward as possible.
Areas of practice
Amy focuses on residential conveyancing, acting for clients across the full range of property transactions, including purchases, sales, remortgages and transfers of ownership.
She supports buyers and sellers from the first stages of a transaction through to completion, handling the legal details so that clients can concentrate on their move. Amy is known for a calm, methodical approach and for keeping the lines of communication open throughout what can often be a complex and time-sensitive process.
Experience and background
Amy studied English at the University of Exeter, graduating with a 2:1 in 2012, before turning to the law.
She completed the Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Law in 2015, achieving a Commendation, and went on to take the Legal Practice Course alongside a Master's in Professional Legal Practice, graduating with a Distinction in 2018.
During her studies, she was awarded the Highest Average Mark Prize for the part-time Guildford LPC and the Gateley plc Prize for Excellence in Property Law, both in 2018. Amy qualified as a solicitor in 2019 and initially specialised in family law before making the move into property work in 2025, joining Donaldson Dunstall. She became part of Stephen Rimmer LLP when the firm was acquired in 2026, and now deals with residential property matters. Amy is registered with the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
Outside the office
Outside of work, Amy enjoys going on adventures with her family and spending time with friends. She is a keen reader and loves getting stuck into a new television series.
