Grant Sanders

Partner - Practice Manager

Grant is the Practice Manager and has experience in people management, digital transformation and risk and compliance.

He is also the Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP) at Stephen Rimmer. The COLP is responsible for ensuring that the firm complies with all the terms and conditions of its authorisation and with its statutory obligations. The COLP must be a lawyer and a manager of the firm, approved by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

Alongside his role with the firm, Grant also regularly contributes to both mainstream and specialist publications in the fields of Law Firm Practice Management and LawTech.

It is his job to make sure that the firm’s internal and external audits, accreditations and overall quality control are taken care of.

Outside of work, Grant is a Trustee of local charity Holding Space. Holding Space supports parents, children and young adults who are struggling with their mental health offering a safe space for families to come together.

Grant also enjoys spending time with his ever-supportive wife and wonderful daughter.

Career

Grant worked as a fee earner in a private practice until 2011, then as an Operations Manager within a top 100 National Brand Legal Services provider until 2018, when he re-joined Stephen Rimmer. Grant was made a Partner in 2020.
