Lydia has extensive experience having worked with all manner of clients, both individuals and corporate clients. She approaches each of her cases with a complete understanding of the client’s needs and the emotional and practical impact that court action can have. Lydia can advise on alternative dispute resolutions where needed.
Lydia understands that many clients have not been involved in litigation matters prior to their situation and recognises the stress this can cause them. Her method of approach is first asking the client what they hope to get out of the dispute. Given the nature of litigation, this can range from damage limitation to receipt of a large financial payment. She works hard to help her clients fully understand the likely outcomes to ensure they are aware and have a realistic view of their case.
Lydia always looks to find the quickest and efficient resolution to every manner of dispute, making sure to quickly assess the situation and provide options and recommendations to resolve the problem, achieve the client’s requirements and fulfil their expectations.
Lydia says, “I love what I do because it gives me the opportunity to use the law to make someone’s life better.”
In her spare time, Lydia enjoys spending time with her young family, running, swimming, reading, travelling, as well as socialising with her friends and family.
Prior to her role at Stephen Rimmer, Lydia was a member of a well-respected South London firm, until in 2016, she joined Stephen Rimmer and has been a valuable member of the team since.
