Partner - Private Client

Joe Richardson is a Partner and Solicitor in our Private Client Department. Joe deals with a wide variety of Private Client work including the drafting Wills, inheritance tax planning, dealing with trusts, helping you get a Grant of Probate when someone has passed away, completing Lasting Powers of Attorney and dealing with the Court of Protection.

Joe provides clear and practical advice to bereaved families, executors and beneficiaries in connection with the administration of a deceased person’s estate.

When not working Joe likes to spend his time with his family, watching and playing football and socialising with friends.

Career

Joe has over ten years of expert experience in estate administration from initial advice through to dealing with HM Revenue & Customs regarding inheritance tax issues and distributing assets to beneficiaries. Joe deals with cases involving high value estates, large family trees, foreign assets and businesses.

Joe has also dealt with many unusual Court applications and scenarios and provides regular support and guidance to colleagues within the department and the wider firm. Joe qualified with Stephen Rimmer LLP in 2004 and was made a Partner in 2014.
