Alastair is an associate solicitor who works in our criminal defence department and has substantial experience and expertise in road traffic offences.
He believes that the ability to strike a balance between strongly fighting his client’s corner, while also maintaining good relationships with the Crown or the Court is key to success.
Alastair offers succinct advice that gets to the heart of the matter as quickly as possible. He says: “Playing a part in ensuring the rule of law is maintained is highly rewarding and made all the more fascinating by the people you meet.”
Outside of work, Alastair is interested in economics, politics, rugby league and rugby union.
Alastair graduated from the University of Bath in 2001 with BSc (Hons) Economics and Politics and undertook the Graduate Diploma in Law in 2003 and the Bar Vocational Course in 2004. Alastair cross-qualified to become a Solicitor in 2009 and a Duty Solicitor from June 2010.
