Grand Opening of our new Family Law Office

  • Posted on

Our Family Law Department have been providing expert advice and representation to individuals and families seeking legal assistance in Eastbourne and the surrounding area for almost 30 years. The new dedicated office space at 21 Lushington Road, with improved facilities for confidential meetings with clients, is just a few minutes' walk away from our firm's head office in Hyde Gardens.

Theeleven members of the family department have moved to the new premises allowing the room to build and expand upon the already established team of lawyers and support staff. The opening of the Lushington Road office has also enabled the firm to expand its other departments in Hyde Gardens.

Family Law

The lawyers in our family team offer a sympathetic ear and constructive advice and guidance. We are members of Resolution (formerly known as the Solicitors Family Law Association), which is an association of over 5000 family lawyers committed to promoting a non-confrontational approach to family matters. Whilst we will be firm in protecting our clients' interests, when required the Resolution code of practice does assist in resolving matters in a constructive and cost effective way.

What we do

Divorce Proceedings, financial settlements and cohabitee disputes.

Our team has decades of experience in handling divorce proceedings, financial settlements and cohabitee disputes and will always look to handle the process efficiently and with as little stress to you as possible.

Pre or Post-nuptial Agreements

A growing number of couples are now making agreements. As with any legal document these should always be prepared by experts. These agreements can give you extra peace of mind if you have concerns over your partner's debt, you've built up a business and don't want to have to sell it if you do divorce, you want to ensure that children from any previous relationship will not lose any inheritance rights or you have or are likely to inherit a family home that you would want to keep in the family.

Care Proceedings

Together with her expert team, head of our Family Law Department Wendy Still has many years of experience helping parents with the issues arising from Care Proceedings, Adoption and Special Guardianship. Working with the Courts and Social Services to deliver the best possible outcome for the children involved.
