Associate Solicitor - Criminal Defence

Lara Harriette is an Associate Solicitor in our Criminal Defence Department.

Lara regularly attends the police station and has experience representing clients for a range of offences from driving offences to serious violence and sexual offences.

Lara is qualified to represent clients in the Magistrates Court and also supports our Crown Court team by taking client instructions to assist in trial preparation.

Lara seeks to help her clients by removing the complex legal jargon from criminal law. Lara is an approachable face for her clients and works hard to ensure that her clients receive the best possible outcome. Lara also speaks intermediate Italian.

Lara says... "Even though I am still early in my career, I made decision to help people from an early age. I feel passionately about protecting the rights of those who find it difficult to have a voice. I hope that by championing them and their issues that I can be a catalyst for change.”

In her spare time, Lara enjoys travelling, dancing and spending time with family and friends.

Career

Lara graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course and Masters in Law. Lara joined Stephen Rimmer as a Trainee Solicitor. Before joining our firm, Lara worked at a local firm in a different area of law.
